Picks of the week
Love off the Shelf – Room Two
Room Two are a talented group of musicians who bring a good time to their performances.
Most importantly, though, their music is superb and has been given another dimension by the addition of vocalist and acoustic guitar player Erin O’Connell, whose on-stage with chemistry with frontman Michael Duffy is palpable.
There is a distinctly American, 1970s feel to this release that chiefly takes inspiration from Fleetwood Mac.

Truth Be Told – CAEL OAK
Under the new name, CAEL OAK, Paul O’Keefe has put elements of his previous work into a unique track that speaks his truth honestly.
While the chorus is memorable and complemented by what sounds like something close to a sitar, the verses are more quick-paced and come close to rap – something we haven’t heard before from this artist.

How Can I Tell You? (To Love Me More) – Brooke Combe
Following the success of her debut album, Dancing At The Edge Of The World, Brooke Combe returns with more soul, but in this track she introduces elements of jazz.
She said: “It’s been a pleasure seeing this song take on a life of its own.
“From sitting on my couch one day just humming the chorus at the time I wrote it, to seeing all the love it’s getting now is just mental.”
