Her first release since 2023, alt-rock artist Bella Wright has returned with a ballad of hurt and mourning, Love’s Just A Word.
Originally from Montana but now living in Liverpool, Bella’s angelic vocals have helped rack up streams on her last track, Ashtray, leaving fans desperate for another release.
Evidently preparing for her most daring era yet, Love Is Just A Word oozes radiant guitar riffs and heartfelt vocals.
Incorporated into the song is an intriguing use of violin, an instrument not often used in the pop-rock sector but something Bella crafts into the backbone of the heartbreak single flawlessly.

Direct and personal, she grapples with the feeling of grief and hopelessness after a breakup.
“Grieving the living it’s hard enough sober,“ this young artist belts with a sting that validates each word she sings.
The track is riddled with ache, from the frenzy of resentful guitar to Bella’s emotional vocals, her sorrow is almost contagious.
On the track, she said: “Love’s Just a Word conducts a funeral for the person you once shared a heart with, but now can’t stand to encounter.”
