Monday release round-up – The K’s, Reignmaker & more

Don’t miss out on any of the latest music from Merseyside! Here’s a list of some of the best new releases from Liverpool and beyond in the last week.

Published March 4, 2024.

When You Cry – Reignmaker

Reignmaker rarely miss and this is another example of them being able to craft great songs amid their heavy guitar tones.

You can follow Reignmaker here.

Black and Blue – The K’s

With dark themes, the reverb on Ryan Breslin’s lead guitar does a great job of adding an eeriness to this popular track.

You can follow The K’s here.

Restart – Tilly Louise

If you like Tilly Louise, you’ll love this. She consistently puts out songs to get you singing, and this one is no different.

Crib – WOO

Crib is the third release from indie band Woo, who are showing real promise with their first trio of songs – definitely a band to follow.

You can follow the band, Woo, here.

Notions – Syllo

It is brilliant to watch Syllo at work when he plays live, and he is now transferring those songs into the recording studio with success.

You can follow Syllo here.

Changing – Caitlyn Eve

After the Scarlett’s popularity, Caitlyn Eve releases Changing, another simple song featuring an incredibly catchy hook, utilising her impressive vocal range.

You can follow Caitlyn Eve here and will be able to read more about Changing soon on Mersey Music.

Sunday Late Shift – Tabi Gervis

It is Tabi Gervis’ first proper release since her 2021 EP, just the little things. This takes on a different style, with a hint of jazz influencing her music.

You can follow Tabi Gervis here.

Letters – K I T

The first release from Kit since 2022, Letters is a Hifi Pop track with a great chorus. Surprisingly, my personal instant reaction was that it has subtle similarities to As It Was by Harry Styles.

You can follow K I T here.

All or Nothing – CHARL

CHARL’s All or Nothing builds nicely into the chorus and the song’s synth tones form a similar sound to those ABBA’s Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! – CHARL is an artist ready for the next step.

You can follow CHARL here.

Validation – Korova

A song with relatable lyrics for almost everyone, Validation is a track that makes you forget about the outside world its full four minutes.

You can follow the band, Korova, here.
