Saturday release round-up – Crawlers, The K’s & more

Don’t miss out on any of the latest music from Merseyside! Here’s a list of some of the best new releases from Liverpool and beyond this week.

Published on January 20, 2024.

Kills Me To Be Kind – Crawlers

This is some release for fans. It has a mellower beginning but builds into classic Crawlers, wearing their lyrics on their sleeves.

You can follow Crawlers here.

It Is What It Is – Ryan Rooney

It is Ryan Rooney’s first release since Flashback early last year, and natural charisma comes through in the track. The song is acoustic-based and takes a slightly absurdist look at young life.

Heart On My Sleeve – The K’s

The K’s have a recipe for success and it works. Heart On My Sleeve is very much a continuation of the Earlestown band’s overdriven sound, complimented by remarkably honest lyrics.

Grey Flowers – Julie Myhre & Dave Sinnott

Julie Myhre and Dave Sinnott link up to release this simple-but-beautiful track that sticks to a traditional structure and features winsome harmonies.

Sweet Escape – Louis Millne

This is another excellent track from fast-growing Louis Millne who is now using vocalists to push his work to the next level and add layers to his releases.
