To celebrate 2023 being a great year for new music in the Liverpool City Region, Mersey Music asked 12 great bands and artists from the area to cover another song, written by someone from Merseyside.
As we saw, this could be anything from The Beatles to a new song you heard at a recent open mic night.
We’ve put each of the 12 covers into one handy place for you to watch and listen to in your own time.
