Liverpool-based singer songwriter Bella Wright is releasing a new single, and it’s message is raw.
Originally from Montana in the USA, Bella Wright is a 20-year-old pop rock now
based in Liverpool.
Her new single, Worth the Crime, is out on July 7, 2023.
In general, her songs are raw coming-of-age stories, that wouldn’t sound out of place in a teenage film from the 1990s – Worth the Crime is no different.

In Worth the Crime, Bella describes the empowering journey of being the bigger person over taking revenge.
She justifies this to herself by saying ‘they’re not worth it’, hence the song’s title.
The guitar is gritty and goes well with the playfully addictive melody supports
the scream-able melody that wants you to move on from your troubles.
Bella does well to catch the feeling that youngsters can relate to when growing up.
Sometimes other people do you wrong and you just want to shout about it.
This song is a therapy for that.
With influences from No Doubt and Alanis Morissette, Wright likes to couple her melodies with emotional, dramatical lyrics.

This is all done to tell a story from her point of view or the angle of the song’s subject.
Bella is set for an exciting tour across the American Midwest this July, before returning to Liverpool.
