Sam Millne, founder of Mersey Music, today released his third single, Don’t Be Lonely.
Don’t Be Lonely was released on March 31, 2023, across all online platforms.
Produced by James Gaugler, Don’t Be Lonely is an upbeat track written to encourage listeners to seize the day.
Millne said: “The song’s about seizing the day and letting go of inhibitions. It’s about realising that the world might not be always helping you out, but you should push on and do things that make you happy anyway.”
A feel-good song at heart, Don’t Be Lonely is about letting go of the past and finding yourself. With an instrumental beginning that bleeds seamlessly into the verse and catchy chorus, Sam hopes the song encourages you to seize the day.
The 22-year-old singer-songwriter has recently formed a live backing band and will be playing original sets around Merseyside soon but, in the meantime, he has two other singles to enjoy across all streaming platforms.
His songs take a variety of forms, from happy-go-lucky ditties to more serious tracks that take a step back to comment on society and the world around us.

His first three singles, Living in Limbo, Maybe and Don’t Be Lonely are quick songs with hooks from the beginning to get you tapping along and nodding to the beat.
With more complex compositions in the pipeline, this opening trilogy of tracks is designed to draw you in and leave you wanting more by the end.
Sam has recently formed a live backing band to take his live shows to the next level.
He also works as a sports and music journalist, making connections all over the North West.
The 22-year-old has ambitions of hearing a crowd sing back his tunes and putting out tracks he’s proud to release and wants others to embrace.
