He’s been playing around the pubs of Merseyside for a couple of years, and now Ethan Pagan is making his move onto the scene with his own music.
His debut single, Running, is an acoustic track produced by Peter Abbott (Omatix), and focuses on how you shouldn’t worry about life as much and enjoy the moment more.
The song comes in at 3 minutes and 5 seconds, and the first thing that hits you is Pagan’s voice.
Reminiscent of Noel Gallagher, he controls his vocals nicely throughout ‘Running’ but the track makes for nice background music rather than as an anthem or hit.
For me, the most memorable part of the song is in the instrumental sections, when the acoustic guitar takes charge and sets a good beat before the melody slows the song slightly in the chorus.
Pagan has supported several talented acts in Liverpool over the last few months and you can expect to see his name pop up more often in 2023!
