The first single from Ellie Burke is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Released on January 20, 2023, ‘The Moon’ is Ellie Burke’s first single.
Coming in at 3 mins 46 secs, it’s a long one for an artist’s debut release but the length allows you to be taken on Ellie’s journey.
The track combines an acoustic sound with electronic keys making for a soft pop sound that provides a relaxed listening experience.
Burke wants her music to inspire a sense of freedom and she takes inspiration from artists such as Sasha Sloan, whom she finds very relatable as ‘she writes music the average person can understand and relate to.’
Burke said: “My aim through this song is to make people feel a little bit less anxious about life or a certain situation. My intent is to allow people a space to really take in their emotions and find some relaxation.”
Ellie will be performing her biggest gig yet in March 2023 in HMV Liverpool where she will be promoting her first single ‘The Moon’, and singing an array of other original music that will be released in future.
