‘The Last Day You Left Home’ is the latest single from Merseyside-based acoustic artist, Thom Morecroft.
The track gets going refreshingly quickly and wastes no time in getting to the repetitive but catchy verses.
The single only lasts two minutes but this means you’re left wanting to hit the restart button knowing you’re straight back into the melody.
The lyrics are sombre in contrast to the bright-sounding acoustic guitar but the song gives you time to reflect on the words before heading back into a more anthemic, relaxed chorus.
